Joanna's wonderful article about the Sulha women circle was publish in Arrowsmith Journal

In her beautiful and deeply moving article, “The Heart Knows,” published in Arrowsmith Journal, a U.S.-based literary and cultural publication, writer and Sulha member Joanna Chen shares her personal experience participating in the Sulha Peace Movement's Woman to Woman program.

Through weeks of honest conversations, shared grief, tears, laughter, and deep listening, Palestinian and Israeli women discovered that even in the darkest times, human connection is possible.

This is what Sulha is all about: creating spaces where people can meet beyond fear, prejudice, and division — without ignoring the painful realities that separate us.

We are grateful to Joanna, a valued member of our Sulha community, for sharing this powerful testimony, and to the courageous women who remind us that peace begins when we dare to see each other's humanity.
